Jason & Marisna Smit decided to have their wedding ceremony and reception at Vondeling Wines close to Wellington, Western Cape.
The bridal couple was an absolute pleasure to photograph. We scouted the venue a few weeks before the wedding and identified locations where we want to do their group photos, bridal party photos and of course the bridal couple photos. A timeline was created to ensure that the wedding proceedings runs smoothly and to capture all the important moments by the two photographers.
The venue is surrounded by beautiful mountain outcrops, green lawns with a quaint chapel in between the vineyards. There is the restored manor house across the road with huge rooms, antique furniture and all the amenities a bride and guests can desire.
The wedding had all the elements a bridal couple and guests would expect. An air conditioned dining hall, a covered verandah, fully equipped kitchen and bar facilities.
Ample locations at the venue provide a variety of backdrops for group, couples and family photos.
